ITV’s popular police drama ‘The Bay’ is back and proving just as gripping as the three previous series. Fans of the programme can now join a five-day tour based in the Lancashire town of Morecombe where the programme is set and filmed and where writer Daragh Carville now lives.
The series follows the lives of DS Jenn Townsend, DI Tony Manning and DS Karen Hobson as they fight crime against the backdrop of the beautiful Bay and surrounding area.
The ‘Morecambe Bay, Lake District and The Yorkshire Dales’ trip, operated by coach holiday company Touromo, is new for 2023 and includes plenty of time to explore ‘the Bay’ as well as including a Lake District Tour plus visits to Holker Hall and Gardens, Lakeland Motor Museum and the Yorkshire Dales national park.
Departing on 10th July, the tour costs from £679 per person. The price includes home pick-ups and return coach travel from the Southern Counties, Oxfordshire and West Midlands, four nights dinner, bed and breakfast in Morecambe, Lake District tour, journey on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway plus entrance to Holker Hall and Gardens and Lakeland Motor museum.
