Hidden underground cocktail bar, Lucy Wong, has launched a brand-new Asian inspired afternoon tea experience in the heart of Fitzrovia, served between 3-5pm, every Saturday, from the 30th September.
Inspired by the memories of spending afternoons sipping tea and enjoying Dim Sum and sweet treats with her mother, Lucy Wong’s Asian twist on a classic British Afternoon Tea is like no other in London.
Paired with traditional Dim Sum and a free-flowing teapot of a Chinese tea of your choice, enter the World of Lucy Wong with a choice of three, two-hour Afternoon Tea experiences.
Featuring a range of Cantonese influenced delicacies, including Salmon & Pork Bao Sandos, signature Duck Puffs and traditional Dim Sum, Lucy’s Afternoon Tea is served on a tiered stand for two, alongside a pretty selection of hand-finished Patisseries. Sweet treats include a decadent Coconut Pandan Mousse, Ginger & Apple Spiced Friand and a Chocolate Soya Caramel Tart.
A Vegan Afternoon Tea is also available, featuring Spicy Vegetable, Spinach & Mushroom and Monk Vegetable dumplings, alongside Aubergine Puffs and traditional Mushroom and Tofu Bao.
Guests can further opt for Lucy’s High Tea experience, adding a glass of champagne to make the moment extra special.
Combining Lucy’s love for cocktails and afternoon tea, Lucy Wong has collaborated with globally renowned whiskey brand House of Suntory to create a bespoke experience, with an Afternoon Tea cocktail pairing featuring three signature cocktails.
Using Hibiki Whisky through an interactive cocktail infuser on the table, alongside a Roku Gin and Haku Vodka signature serve, guests can enjoy three exclusive cocktails, Sweet Harmony, Silver Lining and Hakusan Essence. The exclusive Afternoon Tea creation comes as House of Suntory celebrates its 100th anniversary.
Enjoy Lucy Wong’s Afternoon Tea for only £45 per person or upgrade to High Tea for £55pp. Alternatively, opt for the House of Suntory Afternoon Tea package with three exclusive cocktails for £75pp.
Late-night cocktail bar Lucy Wong is now open from the earlier time of 3pm every Saturday, with guests welcome for drinks, light bites or Afternoon Tea. Throughout the week, Lucy Wong is open from 5pm until late Monday – Friday, with DJs spinning records every Friday from 9pm.
