The countdown to Christmas has started, and National Trust’s beautiful Kingston Lacy in Dorset is getting ready to welcome a new glittering trail between 3 December – 2 January.
The grounds of the elegant country mansion will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Walk by elegant rainbow Christmas trees, a giant bauble tree and through heart-shaped arches, then under colourful strings stretched between towering canopies and beside a carpet of glowing white roses.
Trail highlights for 2021:
- Fire Garden – Walk through an enchanted mix of lanterns and flame-filled sculptures.
- Neon Tree – Pause for a moment of quiet reflection at the Neon Tree glowing in the night
- Christmas Cathedral – Step into a cathedral like no other, with thousands of lights all around
Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist to tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with *toasted marshmallows, a *spiced winter warmer or *hot chocolate shared with someone special.
Christmas at Kingston Lacy provides a special way to celebrate the festive season with an unmissable outdoor experience. The trail is designed for visitors of all ages and is accessible to all to enjoy.
