Travellers in search of a stylish holiday escape will soon be able to experience the new Cook’s Club Corfu, opening in May 2022. Corfu is the latest addition to the Cook’s Club portfolio in the Greek islands, joining the other branded properties in Rhodes, Crete and Kos.
Cook’s Club Corfu is located in the vibrant village of Gouvia, on the shores of the seductive Kommeno Bay. Bringing the signature Cook’s Club vibe to the island, Cook’s Club Corfu blends effortless boho living with the sultry sensations of the Ionian Sea. This adults-only hotel features 195 newly refurbished rooms available as doubles or twins, making it an ideal holiday spot for singles, couples and groups of friends. Rooms come with mesmerising views of either the sea, the rugged island interior, Gouvia village or the glistening pool. Swim-up rooms allow direct access to peaceful pools set among the hotel’s gardens. At the heart of the hotel’s social scene is the pool hub, where guests can enjoy signature cocktails at the Captain Cook’s Pool Bar and listen to live DJs playing sets by day and night.
The Cantina restaurant is a key part of the Cook’s Club Corfu experience. This is where innovative street food concepts come together with home-style cooking and regional Greek cuisine. Guests will also be able to experience Campielo, the hotel’s original a la carte restaurant, featuring the best-loved traditions of Corfiot home recipes, along with Venetian dishes that are embedded in the local culture.
Guests can choose between bed & breakfast rates or the hotel’s own upscale version of all-inclusive, the “Feel Free” concept, which guarantees freshly prepared food and drinks at the touch of a button, from early morning until late evening. Guests will be able to order from the a la carte menu with their smartphone, with each dish freshly prepared in the live-cooking kitchen before being brought to the table. “Feel Free” does away with buffet-style all-inclusive service, ensuring freshness and higher quality, all while reducing food waste.
Combining relaxation with a spirited atmosphere, the vibe at Cook’s Club Corfu is about embracing ultra-chilled days and classic club nights. As well as the brand’s classic poolside scene and DJ beats, Cook’s Club Corfu features a hideaway spa and well-equipped gym, with the opportunity to join aerobics, yoga or Pilates classes. Tennis and biking complete the picture of a break filled with active relaxation for those who want it.
Just a short stroll away is the beach, as well as shops, restaurants and bars, with iconic Corfu Town just a ten-minute drive by car. Boasting a UNESCO World Heritage Site, trendy bars and shopping galore, Corfu Town becomes an extension of the Cook’s Club Corfu experience for guests who wish to explore the island.
“We had an instant connection with the Cook’s Club brand,” said Panos Rokas, the owner of Cook’s Club Corfu. “We wanted to create a destination for chic boho living, where like-minded people can feel at home, connect and embrace the energy and vibes of the island.”
“The opening of Cook’s Club Corfu is a key milestone in our development strategy for the brand” said Alessandro Dassi, Vice-President of Fosun Tourism Group, which acquired the Cook’s Club brand in 2019. “With each new opening, we have the opportunity to push the boundaries of how we adapt the Cook’s Club concept to new destinations. Cook’s Club Corfu offers the perfect mix of local culture and modern, urban vibes, bringing a new and innovative concept to one of the most iconic Greek islands.”
