New coach holiday company Touromo, has launched a 5 day ‘Calling into historic Kent and Call the Midwife tour’ including a themed tour of Chatham Historic Dockyard, backdrop for many of the programme’s iconic scenes.

The programme is currently in its 12th series and regularly captures the hearts of over 10 million TV viewers. During this five-day trip, holidaymakers will enjoy a tour of the dockyard overseen by the show’s producers and featuring material from the latest series as well as props, costumes, sets and of course a midwife to show you around!

Other highlights include punting around the moat of Leeds castle, a visit to Canterbury cathedral and a stop in Pluckley, reputedly one of the most haunted villages in the UK and setting for the 90’s tv series ‘Darling Buds of May’.

Tours depart on 21 August 2023 from a wide range of departure points across the Midlands, Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire and on 14th September from across the South coast of England. A door-to-door pick-up service is offered from many of the postcodes in these areas.

The trip costs from £589 per person (based on 2 sharing) including four nights at the four-star Bridgewood Manor Hotel in Chatham on half board basis, entrance to Leeds castle (including punt around the moat) and the Chatham Historic Dockyard plus the Call the Midwife tour. Prices are based on two sharing and subject to availability.
